Tapi, upaya untuk meminimalisir dampak buruknya harus terus dilakukan. Salah satunya dengan memperbaiki drainase dan menumbuhkan kesadaran masyarakat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upaya Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Bekasi dalam penanganan banjir selama ini dinilai belum menyeluruh. Salah satu permasalahan yang jadi faktor penyebab banjir di Daerah Pemilihan (Dapilnya) adalah saluran air.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upaya penanganan banjir yang dinilai akan berdampak signifikan dapat dilakukan dengan pengumpulan informasi dan pemeriksaan saluran saluran induk di Kota Bekasi. Hal ini penting memastikan fungsi saluran air berfungsi sebagaimana mestinya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Kita kan melihat banyak saluran air besar kita yang kemudian terjadi penyempitan, bahkan ada yang bergeser,lalu ditutup dengan Uditch yang besar tapi pemeliharaannya kurang ya. Hal-hal ini yang seharusnya menjadi konsen kita,&#8221; ungkap anggota DPRD Kota Bekasi,Adhika Dirgantara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sedianya, Peraturan Daerah (Perda) tentang sistem drainase mengamanatkan pemerintah daerah membuat Blueprint terkait dengan drainase di Kota Bekasi. Kerangka terperinci ini seharusnya bisa memberikan informasi permasalahan drainase hingga upaya yang harus dilakukan untuk menuntaskan masalah banjir di Kota Bekasi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Kemudian masalah lainnya adalah kita belum secara serius mengkampanyekan menangkap air,&#8221; ungkapnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mengembalikan air ke dalam tanah jadi upaya lain yang bisa dilakukan agar tidak semua air di lingkungan masyarakat dialirkan lewat saluran. Volume air yang tidak tertampung di saluran akan tumpah kelingkungan masyarakat.tempat tinggal Upaya ini bisa dilakukan dengan membuat polder dan kolam serapan guna mengembalikan air ke dalam tanah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selain itu, menumbuhkan kesadaran kepada masyarakat juga bisa menjadi upaya Pemkot untuk meminimalisir bencana ini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Yang paling penting adalah penumbuhan promosi kesadaran masyarakat untuk kemudian punya mindset dan tata kelola yang tepat terkait dengan penanganan banjir ini,&#8221; tambahnya.
