Digelar di Grand City Mall, ajang ini membawa konsep baru dalam dunia kompetisi domino dengan sistem berlapis dan berlangsung selama delapan minggu.<\/p>\n<p>Berbeda dari turnamen konvensional, HGI City Cup mengusung format kompetisi modern dengan dua jalur seleksi. Jalur nasional dilaksanakan secara online dan terbuka bagi pemain dari seluruh Indonesia, sementara jalur lokal Surabaya difokuskan untuk menjaring talenta terbaik dari komunitas setempat.<\/p>\n<p>Kedua jalur ini akan bermuara pada babak final offline yang mempertemukan 32 pemain terbaik dalam satu arena kompetisi tingkat nasional.<\/p>\n<p>Tournament Manager HGI City Cup, Kevin Martino, menegaskan bahwa turnamen ini tidak sekadar kompetisi, melainkan langkah strategis dalam membangun ekosistem domino yang lebih profesional.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Visi kami adalah menjadikan domino sebagai olahraga pikiran yang memiliki struktur pembinaan jelas. Kami ingin menciptakan ruang bagi pemain untuk berkembang secara berkelanjutan hingga ke level profesional,&#8221; kata Kevin. Sabtu (25\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Menurutnya, Surabaya dipilih sebagai kota pembuka karena memiliki komunitas domino yang kuat serta antusiasme masyarakat yang tinggi. Hal ini dinilai menjadi fondasi penting dalam mencetak pemain-pemain potensial.<\/p>\n<p>Dalam pelaksanaannya, HGI juga menekankan standar kompetisi yang menjunjung tinggi transparansi dan keadilan. Sistem pertandingan dirancang agar setiap peserta memiliki kesempatan yang setara berdasarkan kemampuan masing-masing.<\/p>\n<p>Tak hanya berfokus pada hasil akhir, turnamen ini juga diarahkan sebagai bagian dari pembinaan jangka panjang.
